AB Document Services is a Woman-owned small business headquartered in Tucson, Arizona. Bernadette Athouguia, Owner and President, has been providing quality and accuracy for over fifteen years. We offer experience, reliability and security. Because we are a small business, we pride ourselves on strong client relationships, offering one on one client consultations and hands-on solutions. We offer our nationwide clients the same “small town feel” that our local Tucson clients enjoy, making each client feel as if they are the only client.
The Company was started to provide quality customer service to the medical community by way of providing accurate and timely medical transcription based on client demand. AB Document Services has expanded to meet the ever growing customer need for medical transcription, legal transcription, document shredding, courier services and much more. This “one stop shopping” offers our clients a continuity of services based on a solid working relationship.
By diversifying, we have grown our customer base to also include the legal community, offering the above services as well as legal transcription for assistance with depositions, briefs, hearings, trial preparation, etc.
In addition to the medical and legal communities, we offer all services to a variety of clients, including banks, mortgage companies, the real estate community, and anyone else who may express a need for our services.
About the Owner AB Document Services owner and President, Bernadette Athouguia, has been providing Medical Transcription Services to clients in Southern Arizona for over fifteen years. After working in the medical profession in both front and back office positions for several years, Bernadette saw a need that was not being met. That need was quality medical transcription, which was being provided to the physicians with inaccuracy and lack of attention to detail. She envisioned a company who would hold high standards of quality, accuracy and attention to detail as a top priority, second only to client satisfaction.
It was always a dream of Bernadette’s to start her own company, and she did just that. After working as an in-house transcriptionist in Tucson, Arizona and then subcontracting for other services, she began contracting clients on her own. Through that avenue she was able to build her business to what it is today. Along the way, as need would arise she would facilitate additional services to benefit the clientele.
Branching out as the need presented itself, AB Document Services began courier service and document shredding services, allowing the client to have a well rounded array of services at their fingertips. With the rapport of a strong client relationship and trustworthiness, Bernadette was able to offer these services to existing and new clientele, with the foundation of trust and sensitivity in handling these documents already formed.
Bernadette is active in the daily workings of AB Document Services and maintains a “hands on” approach with all accounts, providing exceptional customer service to each and every client, whether established or brand new.
Bernadette lives in Tucson, Arizona with her three children. She is an active member of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
